Ooooooooooh friends. Have I ever got a treat for you today!

I know a lot of you are big fans of do-anywhere no-equipment workouts, and I’m rather fond of them as well. Nothing beats a sweat session that requires nothing but your own body weight and can be done absolutely anywhere. I’ve posted several of these and you’ll find them all on my Workouts page, but as we all know when it comes to getting results from our fitness routines, variety is key, right?

With variety in mind, today I’d like to share a whole bunch of no-equipment workouts from some of my fellow healthy living blogger friends. I’ve been listening to Break Free by Ariana Grande ft Zedd for the past couple of weeks, and despite it being one of the most overplayed songs on the radio, it still pumps me up in the gym! You know you’ve found a good song when, right? Maybe it’s the empowering lyrics, or the beat, or both, but whatever it is, this song is one of my favourites to sweat to right now. Anyone else agree?

  • 4 moves, 5 workouts to achieve any fitness goal – via Shape.com – These are moves that I’ve been incorporating into most of my own strength training sessions lately and it’s true – they really do bring great results!
  • 10 moves for better balance – via Huffington Post. Sometimes balance workouts get a bad reputation because they’re not exactly the intense sweat sessions you might be used to. The thing is that they help to build a nice strong foundation so that you can do those more intense moves properly, and without injury. Definitely worth a read!
  • The best yoga moves for unflexible people – via Greatist – You can’t see me, but I’ve got both hands raised over here!
