How was your Christmas? It was a green one here in my little corner of southern Ontario this year, but I have zero complaints because things still felt plenty festive.

Work It Out

Today’s routine, the final Fit Bit Friday of 2014 was inspired by my roomie Jess, who has been loyally doing these workouts for the past couple of weeks. Earlier this week I asked her what type of sweat session she wanted to see this Friday, and her response was one that could be done anywhere in a short amount of time. Let’s be real here – many of you are probably on holiday right now and the last place you want to spend your precious hours is the gym. With that said, this routine can be done at home, in a hotel, in a gym, or in the spare bedroom you’re staying in at your grandma’s house.

The Countdown to 2015 Workout

Complete the moves in the circuit below one immediately after the other, starting with 15 jumping jacks, 14 walking lunges, 13 skaters, etc. Take your 1 minute of rest at the end, then repeat the circuit twice more for a total of 3 sets. Note that if you have weights available, you can add them in to make the exercises more challenging.

Turn It Up
