How was your week? Anyone SUPER excited for Halloween tomorrow? I have to admit, I’ve never been huge on celebrating it, but I’m still really looking forward to this weekend. I’ll be catching up with two friends that I haven’t seen in aaaages, which is silly because we all live in Vancouver. But first, I have a workout AND a giveaway for you!
Work It Out
This week’s routine got its name because when I did it on Tuesday, it left me with a very superwoman-like feeling. Don’t get me wrong – I was wiped by the end, but in a really good, also-energized sort of way. If you don’t normally use the rowing machine at your gym, this week I’m encouraging you to give it a little love. Not only can it give you a great cardio workout, but you can also work on developing some killer strength in your upper body at the same time.
The Superwoman Total Body Workout
The rowing sections of this routine are combined with 3 strength-based moves. Every time you repeat the circuit you’ll add a little more distance on the rowing machine and another 2 reps of each exercise. Aim to get your heart rate up high while rowing, but slow down and focus on form and muscle contraction for the 3 strength moves.
Turn It Up
If you need a song to put you in a good mood, this is the one. It’s a little cover of Michael Jackson’s Easy Love by Sigala, complete with some kids that have crazy good dance moves. Enjoy!
