Thanks for stopping by. My name is Angela Simpson and I am a self-labeled foodie, runner and wellness junkie. I love all things health, food, and fitness-related, as you’ll soon discover if you hang around Eat Spin Run Repeat for a while.

Angela Simpson, blogger at Eat-Spin-Run-Repeat.com I’m originally from Edmonton, Alberta, but spent my teenage years growing up on a small island in the Middle East called Bahrain. I attended a British International school, met loads of fabulous friends, and had some amazing once-in-a-lifetime experiences. At the time I was involved in a ton of activities – soccer, basketball, running, cross country running, golf, swimming, hiking – I loved it all.

Unfortunately, all of this physical activity wasn’t enough to keep up with the way I was eating. Weight piled on and eventually I hit a point where I was extremely unhappy and insecure. I decided to take control of the situation and started a weight loss journey that, from start to finish, lasted 2 years. In the process, I learned how to live a healthier lifestyle and developed a huge interest in nutrient-dense, plant-based cooking. I lost 70lbs by eating clean, whole foods and staying active. These things continue to be central aspects of my life today.

Since moving back to Canada in 2006 (this time to Ontario, and more recently Vancouver), I’ve taken on a number of physical challenges including half marathons, marathons, and triathlons. I’ve been a certified group cycling and fitness instructor since September of 2008, and always love working up a good sweat.

Although my full time job in marketing has me sitting at a desk during the day, I’ve continued to pursue my passion for health and fitness on the side. Since 2012 I’ve been a Health Coach, certified by the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I work with individual clients and groups, and you can learn more here about my coaching services.
