Ready to shake things up again this month? October was all about making treadmill running more interesting, but this month’s challenge will send your heart rate soaring in a different way. I’ll be posting 4 new routines over the course of the month that incorporate both body weight and plyometric exercises, which can be very challenging if you aren’t used to this type of training. Plyometric movements involve explosive actions that can place significant impact on the joints, so it’s important to ease into them if you’re a newbie. In these routines, be sure to adjust the sets and reps for your fitness level. With a little practice, I’m sure you’ll start to see improvements and changes in your body’s abilities.
