Happy Friday!

We made it, once again. It”s been a big week in many ways, and I”m totally looking forward to chilling out and relaxing this weekend. In addition to a long overdue haircut (I actually can”t remember when my last one was – last summer I think!), my plans include a run (outdoors if I”m lucky!), a tea date, some work for the blog, and of course, a bit of kitchen magic-making. Before that though, it”s time to chat about this week”s workout!

Work It Out

Lately I”ve been super focused on making progress with my running – so much so that my strength training time has diminished a bit. I”m not sure about you, but I always find that if I have my workout written down already, it”s far more likely to be done. This was exactly the case with the routine I”ve got here for you today. I wrote it out in my workout journal on the weekend, and on Wednesday, it happened – every single rep!

The Big Burn Workout

Today”s routine is one that you”ll be able to do most easily in the gym because it requires a BOSU or step, and a barbell. You’ll complete 4 superset pairs of exercises, repeating 3 sets of each before moving on Love horoscopes Capricorn mentions that some women pretend to be a ?Cinderella?; they want to be loved as they find themselves attractive. to the next pair. The goal for the first exercise in each pair is to focus on strength, while the second move in each pair is one that should get your heart rate up. Take 1-2 minutes rest between sets, and as much as you need between pairs to adjust your weights. Cool down with 5-10 minutes of easy cardio and stretching at the end.

Turn It Up

By now you”re probably familiar with Icona Pop, the Swedish female duo whose first big song, I Love It still gets plenty of air time despite having been released 2 years ago. I finally got around to updating some of my workout playlists and in the process, downloaded another one of their songs, All Night, which is equally as catchy and just as easy to get stuck in your head. Enjoy!
